A sound barrier is a facility inserted between the sound source and receiver, which causes a significant additional attenuation of sound wave propagation, thereby reducing the noise impact in a certain area where the receiver is located.
Technical specifications for selecting sound barrier materials
The general principles for selecting sound barrier materials are good noise reduction performance, safe and reliable structure, economical material price, low installation cost, durability, long service life, coordinated landscape, and elegant appearance. The specific instructions are as follows:
(1) High sound insulation: The average sound insulation should not be less than 35dB;
(2) High sound absorption coefficient: The average sound absorption coefficient should not be less than 0.84;
(3) Weather resistance and durability: The product should have water resistance, heat resistance, UV resistance, and will not reduce performance or quality abnormalities due to changes in rainwater temperature. The product adopts aluminum alloy coil plate, galvanized coil plate, glass wool, and H-steel column surface galvanized external anti-corrosion service life of more than 15 years.
(4) Aesthetics: Multiple colors and shapes can be chosen for combination, coordinating with the surrounding environment to form a beautiful scenery.
(5) Economy: Prefabricated construction can improve work efficiency, shorten construction time, and save construction and labor costs.
(6) Convenient: Installed in parallel with other products, easy to maintain, and easy to update.
(7) Lightweight: The sound-absorbing board series products have the characteristic of light weight, which can reduce the load-bearing load of elevated light rails and elevated roads, and can reduce structural costs.
(8) Fire prevention: Using ultra-fine glass wool, due to its high melting point and non flammability, it fully meets the requirements of environmental protection and fire prevention regulations.
(9) High intensity: Taking into account the different climatic conditions in various regions of China, virtual wind loads are fully considered in structural design. Increase strength by pressing grooves on the production line.
(10) Waterproof and dustproof: When designing materials, waterproof and dustproof measures should be fully considered to ensure that their sound absorption performance is not affected in dusty or rainy environments. Dust and drainage measures have been set up in the construction to avoid water accumulation inside the components. The sound absorption performance of micro perforated resonant cavities is not affected in rainy environments, and the noise reduction is particularly significant for medium and low frequencies.
(11) Durable: The product design has fully considered the wind load on the road, the impact safety of traffic vehicles, and the outdoor anti-corrosion of all gas falsehoods. The product adopts aluminum alloy coil, galvanized coil, glass wool, and H-steel column surface galvanizing treatment. Within the warranty period, it will not corrode, remain unchanged, and its sound absorption and insulation effects will not decrease.
Product features: The sound barrier has a normal height of about 3 meters, as well as a height of over 9 meters; Some are installed on elevated and light rails, as well as along railway lines and on the shoulders of highways; There are fully enclosed barriers on light rail, as well as elevated road surfaces with a span of nearly 20 meters that are fully enclosed, and so on; There are both ordinary metal structures and brick concrete structures; The height and installation location of each type of sound barrier are different, and there are significant differences in its structure and foundation design, especially in the steel structure and foundation design.
Product type:
Traffic sound barriers, equipment noise attenuation sound barriers, and industrial boundary sound barriers. (Size and specifications are customized according to customer needs)
Performance:
The noise reduction of a sound barrier is related to factors such as the frequency of the noise, the height of the barrier, and the distance between the sound source and the receiving point.
The noise reduction effect of a sound barrier is closely related to the frequency component of the noise. The noise reduction effect is better for high-frequency sound above 2000Hz than for intermediate frequency sound around 800-1000Hz. However, for low-frequency sound around 25Hz, due to the longer wavelength of the sound wave, it is easy to diffract from above the barrier, resulting in poorer effect.
Usually, sound barriers can reduce high-frequency sound by 10-15dB. The height of the sound barrier can be designed based on the distance between the sound source and the receiving point. If the height of the barrier is doubled, its noise reduction can be increased by 6dB. In order to achieve better noise reduction effect, the barrier should be kept as close as possible to the sound source or receiving point.
Application:
A noise reduction product suitable for various acoustic environment noise control, such as high-speed railways, highways, elevated bridges, rail transit, power stations, hospitals, schools, industrial enterprise construction sites, etc
